This past May, South Gallia High School students Shayden Hammond, Chase Remy, Linkin Brown, and Laura O'Bryan, along with students from several other counties in Southeastern Ohio, worked together to create a video depicting scenes from the signing of the Declaration of Independence in celebration of our country's 250th anniversary. Students also were able to visit historic sites in Philadelphia as part of their research. This historical project was sponsored by Dr. Denise Shockley, Director of Gallia-Vinton ESC and Dr. Ronald Morris, Dean of History at Ball State University through a grant from the National Endowment of the Humanities (NEH). Advisors from South Gallia were Linda Donohue and Jason Stout (IT consultant).
